I've been doing a weekly log in this thread and several people have asked me to keep going so here's month 3 update: down 31 lbs from 278 to 247. Lost about 3-4 lbs per month after the fast initial drop. Stalled for 2 weeks at month 2.5 and it broke on its own. Energy is better. Sleep is better. Still on 0.5mg and my doctor wants to see me stay here another month.

The protein-first approach is the single best nutrition change I made. Before any carbs or fats, get your protein in. It works synergistically with the medication to preserve muscle while you're in a deficit.

The compounding question comes up a lot here. My take after 8 months: the quality varies enormously. The COA is your friend — if a vendor won't provide a third-party tested certificate of analysis, that's a red flag. I've had good results with a local 503B pharmacy that does quarterly testing.

For the nausea: small meals, no greasy food, ginger tea, and Zofran if your doctor will prescribe it. The first 4-6 weeks are the hardest. Everything gets better after that point in almost every case I've seen in this forum.
